In 2014, Alain Ducasse took a risk and reinvented his restaurant situated in the gorgeous Plaza Athenee with a shift towards healthy and environmentally friendly cuisine.

Ingredients are sourced locally including vegetables grown in the Garden of Versaille.  Harvested each morning, they arrive at the doors of the kitchen a few hours later in anticipation of their preparation.

To reflect the purity of the menu, the designers, Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku, chose to highlight the authentic nature of their materials and the craftsmen who create them.

Huge, elegant silver bells, echoing the service cloches of the last century, reflect the deconstructed crystal drops of the chandeliers. The raw oak wooden tables are beautifully unadorned allowing the cuisine to be the centerpiece of the evening.
