As you enter the Palais Garnier, you will be greeted by a very distressed director of the opera who will explain the adventure to you and your teammates. The goal of the game is to resolve the curse of The Phantom of the Opera allowing him to gain his freedom.

For the first time ever, the Palais Garnier is hosting a unique concept never before offered to the public. Inside Opera is a truly life-sized adventure that blends an escape game with the riveting thrill of following in the footsteps of the Phantom of the Opera.

A unique way to learn the history of the Palais Garnier


The aim of the game is to try to solve the Curse of the Phantom of the Opera and set him free forever by deciphering a series of riddles in the Palais Garnier. You'll travel through the opera house, from the Grand Stair Case to the Grand Foyer as you solve clues and puzzles distributed by actors dressed in costume along the way.

To complete their mission, game participants are free to move around


To complete their mission, game participants are free to move around the iconic rooms of this historic monument, specifically: the Grand Escalier, the Avant-Foyer, the Grand Foyer, the Galerie du Glacier and the Salon du Glacier.  Inside Opera is a unique way to learn the history of the Palais Garnier as true events and artifacts are integrated into the entire experience.

Baggage : There is no cloakroom or luggage room to leave bags inside the Palais Garnier. Large backpacks and/or suitcases are forbidden to enter the Palais Garnier, for security reasons. Access may be refused to participants if their bags don’t fit security requirements.

Information : It is important to bring a pen to take part in the experience
