At an altitude of 1970 meters, La Plagne center is a resort unmatched anywhere in the world.  La Plagne is a part of the vast Paradiski ski area and the second largest skiable area in the world, consisting of 425 km of interlinking slopes. The indispensable crossroads of the ski area, including the incredible climb to La Grande Rochette is one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Alps.

La Plagne is a Shangri La for food loving skiers and snowboarders. There are plenty of excellent restaurants serving delicious, traditional French dishes. You can sample local cuisine such as fondue Savoyarde, tartiflette, Savoyard sausages and crozets.  From an apres ski beverage and snack to a multi course gastronomic experience, there is something for everyone at La Plagne.

Throughout the season La Plagne buzzes with a thriving calendar of events, both cultural and sporting.

The resort consistently hosts professional competitions and tournaments including the Ice Climbing World Championship in early February and the FIS Telemark World Championships in late March.  There are fantastic spectator events for any visitor to La Plagne.
